- Since corporations aren’t sentient beings it makes sense and therefore shouldn’t come as a surprise that they do not inherently or instinctually demonstrate care for individuals.
- A cool summer morning is a thing to be cherished.
- The unknown is generally scarier than the known. When this isn’t the case it’s generally a bad sign.
- If we don’t advocate for ourselves we shouldn’t be surprised or disappointed when others don’t advocate for us.
- When you leave a conversation feeling better (lighter, happier, relieved, heard, cared for etc…) for having spoken to the other person, remember how that feels and be that person to another when given the chance.
- When two people are faced with the same responsibility they will, by definition, meet that responsibility differently.
- Too many adults are quick to assume bad intentions in adolescents. Doing so is uncalled for, unproductive, and clearly a manifestation of them projecting their own shortcomings.
- There comes a time when your primary objective in reading a book is simply to finish it. No author should be allowed to publish without having experienced this sensation.
- How we spend so much of life ignoring the beauty all around us, or simply blind to it is completely astounding.
- Be with the ones you love in their small moments of celebration.
