@kammiemusic sang this beautiful rendition to open the 2016 Peachtree Road Race. It was a beautiful way to open to race and the change in energy when the Anthem began was sudden and intense. All of the commotion of the pre-race energy subsided and, as you can see in this video, a sense of calm and respect descended all around. This was my 3rd Peachtree Road Race and the first time I’ve heard the National Anthem performed. Being present in this moment changed my experience of running the race and I am grateful to have been there to capture this footage.
