Igniting the Spark

I mentioned the other day that my colleague, Rabbi Dr. Michael Shire, and I co-led a session entitled, “Igniting the Spark: Adolescent Spirituality” at the recent NFTY Conference Youth Summit in Atlanta.

The session title was inspired by the work of Peter Benson (of blessed memory). Here’s his TED Talk. It’s worth watching if you’re a parent, grandparent, educator, clergy person, social worker, or teenager. Basically anyone who cares at all about the wellbeing of the next generation should find 20 minutes to enjoy this talk.
