But only if you’re cool with the response no matter how unexpected or untenable.

But not if you’re sure you’ve got the answer.

Ask.

But only if you’re ready/willing/able to listen.

Sometimes the truest questions remain unasked because we fear the awkwardness of silence.

Or aren’t cool with the unexpected response.

Or don’t realize that they’re questions to begin with.

Or because we think we know everything we need to know.

The vulnerability of asking.

That’s something we don’t attend to all that much.

I guess for obvious reasons.

Probably because we’re afraid to ask.
